Spay and Neutering animals not intended for breeding purposes is paramount to controlling pet overpopulation.  Mating in animals is an instinctual behavior, not a relationship choice.  Males (dogs and cats) tend to roam in search of females and find fights and automobile accidents.

We offer traditional ovariohysterectomies (spay) for females or ovary sparing sterilization which leaves the ovaries intact and removes the uterus only.  The ovaries will continue to produce normal levels of female hormones.

We offer traditional neuters (castration) for males or testicle sparing vasectomies. The testicles will continue to produce testosterone.

There are pluses and minuses to every choice.  We invite you to have a conversation about the options to discover which one is right for you and your dog or cat.
